These conditions govern access to Newton County Criminal History. Visiting a page, reading its content, or using a search tool constitutes agreement to the terms below. Anyone who does not agree must discontinue use.

NO FCRA USE. This privately owned site is not affiliated with government. Neither it nor its advertising partners supplies a service for credit, employment, insurance, tenant, or other Fair Credit Reporting Act purposes. It is a Newton County, Georgia records reference, not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site with no government connection. It neither stores official records nor retrieves histories, performs official checks, or submits filings.

Its content directs readers to Newton County Sheriff, the courts, GCIC, and the Georgia Sex Offender Registry, and it may provide access to outside research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

Use is conditioned on an agreement not to:

  • Violate federal, Georgia, or local law
  • Threaten, stalk, or harass another person
  • Use content for employment, housing, credit, or insurance decisions
  • Attempt unauthorized system access
  • Deploy scrapers, bots, or other automated collection tools
  • Interfere with site access, speed, or availability

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information obtained here or through a linked tool may not be used to intimidate, harass, stalk, threaten, or discriminate. Misuse may also violate law. Georgia Sex Offender Registry information is published for community safety, not vigilantism or unlawful discrimination, and misuse against a registrant can carry legal consequences.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

Newton County Criminal History is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and creates no credit report, consumer report, or official background check. The site and its partners do not offer FCRA screening services. Content from this site or a linked tool may not be used to:

  • Make an employment decision
  • Evaluate a tenant or housing applicant

A regulated background check must come from an authorized official process or an FCRA-compliant consumer reporting agency.

Site content is general information, not legal advice. Only a licensed Georgia attorney can advise how a warrant, charge, conviction, or record restriction rule applies to a specific matter.

6. No Warranties

All content and services are provided "as is" without a guarantee that:

  • Information is always complete, accurate, or current
  • Service will be uninterrupted
  • Pages contain no defects or security risks
  • Partner results are complete or correctly matched

Charges, dispositions, restrictions, and agency procedures change. Delays and gaps are unavoidable, and no site content is an official statement from a sheriff, court, or government agency.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links lead to government portals, legal resources, and outside services that operate independently. This site does not control their content, availability, data practices, or charges. Their own terms apply after a visitor leaves this domain.

8. Intellectual Property
